Yesterday was “National Clean Off Your Desk Day” according to this site. Which by chance, tied in with the topic that I’d decided to cover in today’s blog which was clearing the clutter.
“National Clean Off Your Desk Day” seemed a random day to have it two weeks after most people went back to work after the Christmas break. Surely before the holidays would have been better? Or the first day back, or maybe it’s to do with the January blues and helping to change peoples mindset clearing out the old and making way for the new getting people.
New Years Resolutions
At the start of January, we’re full of good intentions and resolutions about what we’ve going to do, what changes we will make. As I’ve talked about before the best thing to do to bring changes or new things into your life is to take that first step.
If you want to bring in new things you need to be prepared to clear out the old. Clearing the clutter at home or work can help create calm organised space, allowing you space to think and grow.
My intention is to clear the clutter, room by room. (Some people prefer to blitz the whole house in go).
As well as rooms, you can clear the clutter on your computer – empty your inbox, file emails you need to keep in folders and delete those you don’t need. Same with photos and files (I’m often saving things to my desktop for ease and then have to “file” it all later.)
Also clearing your own energetic clutter is important. We are responsible for our own energies. If you’ve been constantly feel run down you may want to look at who you’re around, what situations do you put yourself in.
Cutting energetic cords to people with people that are causing you problems or try reiki healing or a massage to clear your energetic blocks.
Meditation is also good for clearing the mind but when you start it can be hard to stop all the clutter getting in the way. Just keep at it.
Reduce / Reuse/ Recycle
Remember as part of clearing the clutter I’m not advocating just bin it all approach. Look at what it is you no longer need. Can you use it in another way? Could others make use of it? even if it’s broken or has holes in, you could take it to a repair café or try and repair it yourself. If then you still don’t want it, you could donate it to charity shops, sell it on Facebook Marketplace or eBay.
It’s not just us clearing the clutter.
The bushfires in Australia have been particularly terrible this year. While it’s never a nice thing to happen from our 3D human perspective. There are channelled messages that it’s all part of Gaia’s ascension and the changes the earth needs to go through to reach its new 5th Dimension form.
The fires are transformational, changing the existing into something new. Already people have been posting out about new plant life (leaves on trees, plants etc.) growing in areas recently decimated by the bushfires.
The fires are the start of changes happening. And while I don’t expect people to just sit and do nothing living in fear or anger about them won’t help either. Sending Love is something we can all do regardless of our financial situation, and that love energy will help the transition and help heal the areas affected.
Have a good clear out, even if it just starts with your desk. See what new opportunities and chances for growth appear for you.
