The world is going mad, if you read the news, there’s so much nutty stuff going on all around the world.
In the UK, we’ve been thrown back into turmoil by the politicians with news that we’re to undergo a general election this time next month. People have such strong opinions about who they and everyone else should and shouldn’t be voting for.
The news should be educating us, helping people to make informed choices, but instead, the main parties are more interested in putting their opposing parties down.
Stunts like editing and re-posting footage of interviews to give false accounts of what has happened. Blatant lies in speeches etc.
So knowing who or what to trust, is becoming harder. (Time to develop skills for spotting un-truths – a human lie detector would be rather useful I think).
In Hong Kong’s protests started in June against plans to allow extradition to mainland China.
There have been clashes between police and activists that have become increasingly violent, with police firing live bullets and protesters attacking officers and throwing petrol bombs. According to the BBC news website.
Australian bushfires are at “catastrophic” proportions at the beginning of fire season.
Bolivia’s president has resigned no-ones too sure who is in charge and there have been reports of protest, looting and unrest
British companies are dropping like flies – Mothercare, Mama’s & Papa’s and Clinton cards have all gone into are close to going into administration.
The Amazon Rainforest is still burning.
UK weather is up the wall one day there’s a report of floodings, the next other areas have got early snow.
These things are the world, changing and hopefully / eventually changing for the better. But for now, it can be a scary time for us all wherever we are in the world.
Fear does not serve us.
But try not to live in fear. Fear doesn’t serve you, it stops you living. It creates blocks to stop you doing things, it stops change, it can stop you following your path.
So what can we do?
We can’t change the weather, we have little control over our politicians and none over those in other countries, so what can we do.
Just take a deep breath and centre ourselves.
Simply send love energy to the world, to those with “the power”. And those affected by all these changes.
Focus with the intent “FOR THE HIGHEST GOOD of US ALL”.
It doesn’t matter if you call it a wish, a prayer, visualisation. Just do it! You don’t need superpowers you just need to WANT it to happen.
The earth is changing – we need to change with it. I think we can all see things don’t work the way they are now.
I for one would rather live in a world built on love than fear and negativity.
